Your privacy

Cookie policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026.

1. Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage is a similar technology that lets a website remember information on your device.

You can browse this website without creating an account. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on the public website.

2. Remembering this notice

When you select “Understood”, we save a first-party local-storage entry called dsi-cookie-notice-v3. It records that you have acknowledged the notice and when that acknowledgement expires. It does not identify you or track your browsing.

We honour this acknowledgement for 180 days, after which the notice appears again. The stored entry remains on your device until it is replaced or you clear your browser’s website data. Dismissing the notice does not give permission for analytics or advertising.

3. Website administration

WordPress uses cookies when authorised staff use the website’s administration or account-management screens. These are separate from browsing the public pages.

These cookies support account security and administration; they are not advertising cookies. Ordinary visitors do not need to sign in to read the website.

4. Managing storage

You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser’s privacy settings. Clearing the notice acknowledgement will cause the notice to appear again. Blocking authentication cookies can prevent staff from using the administration area.

The footer’s “Cookie settings” link reopens the information notice. There are currently no optional tracking services to enable or disable. If we introduce any, we will update this policy and provide appropriate choices before they are used.
